Important Legal Notice
Valor Institute for Leadership and Legacy (“Valor”) is a fiscally sponsored project of Veterans Collaborative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 88-2754506), operating under a Model C (pre-approved grant) relationship. All charitable donations and tax-deductible contributions intended to support Valor must be made directly to Veterans Collaborative. Valor maintains full operational independence as a separate legal entity. Please also review Veterans Collaborative’s Terms and Conditions of Use and Privacy Policy. By using this website or engaging with Valor’s services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions in addition to those of Veterans Collaborative.
Nature of Services
Valor provides structured, private experiences focused on life transition, alignment, and leadership development.
These services are not:
- Psychotherapy
- Mental health treatment
- Medical care
Participation does not establish a provider–patient relationship.
Participant Responsibility
You are responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from participation. Valor provides frameworks, structure, and guidance. Implementation remains your responsibility.
No Guarantees
While the process is designed to produce clarity and direction, outcomes will vary based on individual engagement and circumstances. No guarantees of specific personal, relational, or professional outcomes are made.
Confidentiality Expectations
Valor maintains a high standard of discretion. Participants are expected to do the same regarding any shared materials or processes.
Intellectual Property
All materials, frameworks, and content provided by Valor are proprietary. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without written permission.
Donations and Charitable Contributions
All charitable donations and grants made in support of Valor are received and administered by Veterans Collaborative in accordance with the Model C fiscal sponsorship agreement. Valor does not directly accept or process tax-deductible contributions. Funds related to sponsored activities must be routed through Veterans Collaborative. Valor may maintain separate accounts only for non-sponsored activities, with clear separation and no commingling of funds.
Public Representation and Website Requirements
In all communications, websites, publications, and materials, Valor presents itself as a fiscally sponsored project of Veterans Collaborative. The following statement (or substantially similar language) must appear:
“Valor Institute for Leadership and Legacy is a fiscally sponsored project of Veterans Collaborative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.”
Project-generated materials, including website footers, shall include appropriate notices referencing Veterans Collaborative.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Valor, its officers, directors, and Veterans Collaborative are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from participation in services, use of this website, or reliance on any information provided. This includes, but is not limited to, outcomes from services, unauthorized access, or any errors or omissions.
Compliance with Fiscal Sponsorship Agreement
Valor operates in accordance with its Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) and addendums with Veterans Collaborative. Participants and users agree to respect all applicable policies, including those related to fundraising, branding, and use of funds.
Modifications
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued use of the website or services constitutes acceptance of those updates.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, except where Veterans Collaborative’s terms or the MOA apply.
