Simple living; simply living

Last week was a super busy week for us; how about you?  We finished our first week of homeschooling, and while it went well, it was a bit more time-consuming than I initially thought it would be!

Today I thought I’d share a few articles I found useful in helping me to simplify my life.

Check out this list of 10 simple things you can do daily to reduce clutter: http://www.rd.com/home/cleaning-organizing/declutter-your-life/

Minimize your belongings with this advice:  http://www.danabyers.com/to-how-minimize-belongings/

Is your “fantasy self” collecting clutter that you don’t need and aren’t using? http://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/francine-jay/declutter-your-fantasy-self_b_9785190.html

Busyness is a Kind of Debt  Whatever is normal to us becomes invisible, no matter how counterproductive, and we’ve simply become accustomed to tracking too many ongoing concerns in our heads.

I’m a fan of simple living and benefiting from a minimalist lifestyle. We could all probably improve our lives by reducing the outside noise and stress of life while focusing on our priorities; making sure our time and energy are going towards the things that we say are our priorities!

In case you missed it, I did a post here and here on two books I found very helpful in our decluttering process!

I’d love to hear from you.  What are your favorite resources to help you stay organized?  What inspired you to declutter?
